One of the great things that Odd Fellows like to do is to participate in making floats. It’s a great way to bond with others with a common purpose. After all, we’re all about Friendship, so what a great way to make new friends!
Each year, Odd Fellows and Rebekahs from all over Los Angeles (and California) decorate a float for the Rose Bowl Parade. In 2018, they won the Director’s Award for “most outstanding artistic design and use of floral and non-floral materials” with their float “A Sacrifice to Serve” honoring Purple Heart recipients!
The group of Odd Fellows and Rebekahs who decorate the floats each year for the Rose Parade put out the call to Odd Fellows and Rebekahs in California to join them in making a float and those who did so this year put together a winner.
Below you will see the page on the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Rose Float website dedicated to this year’s winner as well as floats dating back to 1908!
The Odd Fellows Lodge meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7:00 PM.
When we meet, we welcome anyone who would like to attend to find out what we’re all about. Stop by and say hello. We like to think of ourselves as family and we would love to meet you.
Our dining hall is spacious and can hold up to 80 people. You can reach us at the following number or by email for more information:
